FEEDER AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES AND SERVICES

A station in Hatfield will attract passengers from the East, Waverley and North Eastern suburbs of Pretoria. People boarding at Hatfield Station are expected to mainly park-and-ride with access from the N1 and N4 freeways. Hatfield Station can also be used to link the Pretoria Ring Rail System (Metrorail services) with Gautrain and to act as a feeder service. Hatfield station is to be situated south of School Lane between Grosvenor and Duncan Streets, immediately north of the existing railway line.

The planned dedicated feeder services,  will run on routes from and to Silverton Waverley and Brooklyn. Passengers arriving at this station on the Gautrain service are expected mainly to walk to the end destination of their trips (i.e. Hatfield node, University of Pretoria, Loftus). However, a distribution route along Lynwood Road is envisaged.
